Justice Concludes Workshop on Code of Conduct and Work Ethics


Sana’a: The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights concluded a two-day training workshop in the capital Sana’a on the code of conduct and work ethics for public employees. The workshop targeted 40 ministry leaders and staff members, aiming to enhance their understanding of professional ethics, public service responsibilities, institutional commitment, and compliance with laws and regulations, in order to improve administrative and institutional performance.



According to Yemen News Agency, sessions covered practical aspects of work ethics, the rights and duties of public employees, legal and professional responsibilities, mechanisms for compliance with regulations, and ways to address behavioral violations in the workplace and reduce their impact.



Speaking at the closing ceremony, attended by Deputy Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Anas Sufyan, Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights Judge Ibrahim Al-Shami said the workshop forms part of a broader institutional effort to activate the code of conduct in practice and strengthen institutional efficiency. He affirmed the ministry’s commitment to building an administrative environment based on integrity, transparency, and adherence to laws and regulations, describing these principles as essential for achieving justice and serving citizens responsibly.



Al-Shami also stressed the importance of ethical and professional awareness in improving administrative performance, noting that Quranic values promote justice, accountability, and self-discipline in public service. At the end of the workshop, attended by Director of Training and Qualification Mohammed al-Shamri and several ministry officials and employees, certificates were awarded to participants and members of the code of conduct team.
