Sana'a: Yemen's Pharmacists Syndicate, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Sana'a University, and the Higher Authority for Medicines commemorated the 2026 National Yemeni Pharmacists Day. This event coincided with the conclusion of the 11th Scientific Conference on Pharmaceutical Research and the 10th Pharmaceutical Exhibition, united under the theme: "The Role of Scientific Research in Advancing the Pharmaceutical Industry."
According to Yemen News Agency, officials at the event emphasized the necessity of enhancing pharmaceutical research and fostering local drug manufacturing. They discussed the significance of achieving pharmaceutical self-sufficiency in the face of ongoing challenges. The role of pharmacists in elevating healthcare services and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines was also underscored.
