Sana'a: The Preparatory activities marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday were launched on Thursday in Khadir District, Taiz Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Local Council Executive Board members Mohammed Al-Hassous and Tawfiq Al-Attab, General Mobilization official Nasser Al-Hamdani, and District Security Director Col. Issam Sabr. During the gathering, speakers emphasized the significance of the occasion in strengthening faith-based values, adherence to the Qur'anic approach, and following the Prophet's example.
District Cultural Official Rashid Al-Hayyani described the commemoration as a broad cultural and awareness campaign, urging for coordinated official and public efforts to address current challenges.
In a speech on behalf of local scholars, Ali Al-Hijazi highlighted that the Prophet's birthday serves as an important occasion to reinforce moral values, strengthen social solidarity, and promote community unity and Islamic identity.
