Sana'a: Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi inaugurated a series of service and development projects in the center of the governorate and various districts, coinciding with the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, the projects inaugurated by Al-Hadi encompass 20 initiatives in agriculture, roads, community initiatives, and education, with a total funding of 708.476 million Yemeni rials sourced locally. Furthermore, Al-Hadi laid the foundation stones for 46 new projects slated for implementation during the Islamic year 1448 AH. These projects span sectors including agriculture, community initiatives, roads, education, health, and institutional development, with an estimated local funding of 3.553 billion rials.
The governor highlighted that these projects are indicative of ongoing efforts to enhance basic services and improve infrastructure in the region. Local development officials underscored the necessity of addressing citizens' needs, focusing particularly on education, water, roads, health, and community services. They also emphasized the importance of the proper use and maintenance of completed projects, pointing out that sustaining these initiatives requires collaboration among local authorities, implementing bodies, and beneficiaries.
During the inauguration, Governor Al-Hadi was accompanied by several local officials and directors of government offices.
