Sanaa Governorate Condemns Saudi Airstrikes as War Crimes

Sanaa:The Local Authority in Sanaa Governorate has condemned recent airstrikes by Saudi aircraft targeting the homes of citizens Mubkhot Ahmed Al-Qash'ah and Muqbil Ahmed Al-Ramadi in the Nihm district. The attacks resulted in the deaths and injuries of several civilians, including children and women from one family, and led to the total destruction of the two homes.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Local Authority described the deliberate targeting of these homes as a fully-fledged war crime and a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws. The statement issued by the authority highlighted the deep-seated animosity of the Saudi regime towards the Yemeni people and suggested that the attacks were a result of Saudi Arabia's failures on the battlefield, leading to retaliation against civilians.

The Local Authority emphasized that such crimes will not be forgotten and vowed to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions. Additionally, the statement criticized the United Nations, the Security Council, and international organizations for their continued silence, which it claims has emboldened the Saudi forces to commit further atrocities.

In its conclusion, the Local Authority urged the people of the governorate to remain united and resilient in the face of aggression, asserting that such crimes would only strengthen the resolve of Yemenis to defend their land and sovereignty until victory is achieved.
