Sana'a: Sana'a University and the General Authority for the Development of Small and Micro Enterprises have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in education, training, and scientific research, as well as to support economic development and empower university students and graduates.
According to Yemen News Agency, the MoU was signed by University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti and Authority Chairman Ahmed Al-Kubsi. The agreement establishes a strategic partnership between the two entities aimed at advancing the educational and research process, strengthening practical training and skills development, promoting the culture of entrepreneurship, and creating broader opportunities for small and micro enterprises.
The agreement also includes collaboration in implementing training and practical programs, engaging students and graduates in fields that meet labor market needs, preparing studies, manuals, and knowledge-based programs, providing technical consultations, conducting applied research, and contributing to the development of productive capacities while linking them to small-scale economic activities.
Both sides described the MoU as a practical step toward strengthening national partnership to support comprehensive development. The agreement ensures integration between the university as an academic institution and the authority as a developmental body, with the aim of preparing and empowering youth to actively contribute to the labor market and national production.
