Sanaa: Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a witnessed a mass rally Friday evening to thank Allah, celebrate the Armed Forces' victories, and the expulsion of Saudi military mobilizations from western coastal districts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the crowds, attended by Sana'a Mayor Dr. Hamoud Abbad, First Deputy Mayor Khaled Al-Madani, and other officials, chanted slogans praising the victories and affirming support for the Armed Forces. The participants renewed their full support for Revolutionary Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the Armed Forces, pledging to maintain the policy of 'blockade for blockade' and 'escalation for escalation' until the blockade and aggression are ended and Yemenis' rights are secured.
They hailed the Armed Forces' victories in repelling Saudi mobilizations along the western coast and praised the troops' role in defending Yemen's sovereignty. They also welcomed military operations targeting Saudi bases and facilities in response to what they described as Saudi aggression and blockade.
The crowds declared full readiness to confront any developments, support the battlefronts with personnel, resources, and strengthen national unity to thwart what they called enemy plots against Yemen's sovereignty, security, and stability. They also called on those fighting alongside the enemy to return to the national ranks, lay down their arms, and take advantage of the general amnesty.
Addressing the rally, Al-Madani praised the mass turnout, saying it reflected Yemenis' steadfast position in confronting the forces of aggression. He said the victories came with Allah's support following Yemenis' commemoration of the Prophet Mohammed's birth anniversary. Al-Madani affirmed full support for the Armed Forces' statement and called for continued mobilization and preparedness to support the battlefronts and confront the aggression and blockade.
