Sana’a: In the eighth Ramadan lecture of the year 1447 AH, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi delved into the story of Prophet Musa (PBUH), highlighting the themes of divine care and the unwavering truth of Allah’s promise. Held on Wednesday, 8th of Ramadan, the lecture focused on reflections from Surah Al-Qasas, emphasizing the divine intervention that returned Musa to his mother, showcasing Allah’s care and the fulfillment of His promises despite the oppressive circumstances of that time.

According to Yemen News Agency, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi recounted how Musa’s mother faced immense anxiety when her son was taken to Firaawn’s palace. Despite her distress, Allah’s plan ensured Musa was reunited with his mother, highlighting that divine care often manifests in challenging situations, providing reassurance and transforming distress into relief. This narrative served as a testament to the Quranic assertion that “Allah’s will always prevails,” even in the face of tyranny and oppression.

The lecture further explored how Allah’s promises offer a deep-seated assurance to believers, reinforcing their faith. Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized that the story of Musa illustrates the importance of maintaining faith and conviction in Allah’s promises, as these are central to overcoming adversity. He urged the Muslim Ummah to recognize the truth of Allah’s promises, which transcend time and are applicable to all oppressed peoples, urging them to turn to Allah for guidance and support.

Sayyed Abdulmalik also addressed contemporary issues, drawing parallels between historical narratives and the current plight of the Muslim Ummah. He criticized the normalization policies with the Israeli entity, arguing that they stem from ignorance and despair, which contradict the explicit promises of divine intervention and victory over oppression as stated in the Quran.

The lecture concluded with a call for the Ummah to realign its actions with divine guidance, emphasizing the necessity of faith-based commitments to achieve liberation from tyranny. Sayyed Abdulmalik invoked prayers for the martyrs, the wounded, and the captives, seeking Allah’s mercy and assistance in overcoming current challenges, and reaffirmed the certainty of divine promises as a source of strength and hope for believers.
