Hajjah: Shabab Tehama team defeated Al-Qassam 5-0 in the first group of the Martyrs on the Road to Quds Football Tournament in Hajjah Governorate. With this victory, Shabab Tehama raised its points tally to four, topping the group on goal difference ahead of the late Mohammed Salba team, while Al-Qassam’s points remained at three, placing them third.
According to Yemen News Agency, the match was officiated by referee Akram Hamid, assisted by Nabil Al-Buqa and Mu’in Bakhit, with Khalid Al-Shaghdiri as the fourth official. The goals were scored by Mu’eed Badawi, Omar Shabrin, Mus’ab Zubair, Tamim Al-Maghouri, and Yahya Sahl.
The tournament continues today with a match between Al-Tahadi and Palestine in Group B, organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club under the supervision of the Governorate’s Youth and Sports Office. In the junior category, Al-Rashid team qualified for the second round after defeating Al-Ahli 3-0, with Khalid Al-Sunaini scoring two goals and Laith Al-Faqih scoring one, in Group A.
