Shabwa Governor Urges Tribesmen to Abandon Saudi Military Camps

Shabwa:Shabwa Governor Awad Al-Awlaki has called on residents of the governorate, who he claims have been deceived, to exit Saudi military camps located in several districts. He emphasized the importance of protecting their lives and avoiding becoming casualties in the ongoing conflict.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Awlaki reiterated his warning to the people of Shabwa and other occupied regions about joining Saudi-led mobilization efforts. He accused those orchestrating these efforts of exploiting the people of Shabwa and southern Yemen for financial gain from Saudi Arabia.

Al-Awlaki criticized Saudi officers and their allies for taking refuge in underground military facilities, disregarding the well-being of Shabwa and southern Yemen's residents while taking advantage of their challenging living conditions. He also accused them of looting Yemen's resources and sending the profits to the Saudi National Bank.

He clarified that the Yemeni Armed Forces do not consider the people of Shabwa or southern Yemen as targets, echoing the sentiments of Leader Abdulmalik Al-Houthi and the President of the Supreme Political Council. Instead, he stated that the real targets are the Saudi-led military mobilizations orchestrated by Saudi officers.

Al-Awlaki highlighted the value of Shabwa and southern Yemen's people, cautioning against risking Yemeni lives in a conflict that benefits Saudi interests. He accused the Saudi forces of civilian casualties and attacks on civilian infrastructure across Yemen for over 12 years.

Additionally, the governor supported Al-Houthi's speech commemorating the 1448 AH Annual Martyr Anniversary, which reiterated that residents of occupied provinces are not the targets of the Yemeni Armed Forces.

Al-Awlaki praised the Armed Forces' accomplishments on various fronts, stating that their actions aim to end aggression and blockades, reclaim Yemen's legitimate rights and looted resources, and remove occupying forces from Yemeni territory.
