Sana'a: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research organized a protest sit-in on Monday in support of the Holy Qur'an and Al-Aqsa Mosque, demonstrating solidarity with Lebanon and affirming readiness. This event was held under the slogan: 'The Holy Qur'an and the Nation's Responsibility Toward Its Sacred Sites.'

According to Yemen News Agency, a statement was released during the sit-in, which was attended by Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem Al-Daees and Undersecretary for Basic Education Hadi Ammar. The statement condemned the repeated insults by American and Zionist forces against the Holy Qur'an and the frequent desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by these groups.

The statement called for the Arab and Islamic nations to initiate widespread campaigns to boycott American and Israeli products. It also encouraged participation in million-man marches across Arab and Islamic capitals and cities.

Furthermore, the statement urged educators, academics, students, and ministry staff to engage in marches, sit-ins, and other activities. It encouraged enrollment in mobilization courses and preparations for potential upcoming confrontations with adversaries.

The statement reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for Al-Aqsa Mosque, the oppressed Palestinian people, and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. It also expressed solidarity with Lebanon and its resistance fighters, emphasizing readiness to confront any escalation by the United States and Israel targeting the region and the Islamic nation.

Additionally, the statement praised the success of the summer activities and courses, advocating for continued support and participation in concluding and honoring events for students, as well as in Eid aid convoys supporting fighters on the front lines.
