Sana'a: The Orphan Care and Rehabilitation Home in the capital Sana'a concluded its summer program activities for the year 1447 AH on Monday, marking the end of a series of educational and recreational events for participating children.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the closing ceremony, Director Dr. Ahmed Al-Khazan praised the participants for their active engagement in the programs, highlighting their dedication to learning, developing skills, and showcasing creativity. He emphasized the importance of summer programs in nurturing an aware generation equipped with knowledge and guided by Islamic values and ethics.
In a speech delivered by student Nidal Khasrouf, participants expressed gratitude to the Home's leadership and all those who contributed to the success of the activities, noting the programs' significant impact in enhancing knowledge and cultivating talents.
The event featured Quranic chants, traditional folk performances, and a play titled 'The Pioneers of Clear Victory' performed by the Home's students. A scout-style parade also showcased the discipline, organization, and skills that students acquired during the summer courses.
The ceremony reflected the Home's commitment to providing a holistic environment that promotes learning, creativity, and moral development for orphans.
