Al bayda'a: The Office of Economy, Industry and Investment in Al Bayda'a Governorate has taken decisive action by destroying six tons of expired food products.
According to Yemen News Agency, the destruction followed a comprehensive inspection and monitoring campaign led by the office in Al Bayda'a city. Ahmed Al-Taheri, Director of the Office, reported that the seized items included a range of food products, such as dairy products, juices, and soft drinks. These items were confiscated by dedicated inspection teams, following all necessary procedures, with the presence of representatives from the relevant authorities ensuring transparency in the process.
Al-Taheri emphasized the ongoing commitment to market inspection campaigns throughout the governorate's center and districts. He urged citizens to actively participate by reporting instances of price manipulation or the sale of expired products, highlighting the importance of community involvement in maintaining food safety standards.
