Funeral Procession Held in Sana’a for Martyrs Major General Mutahar and Colonel Al-Ghathi

Sana'a: A solemn funeral procession was held in the capital Sana'a on Saturday for the bodies of the two martyrs of the nation and armed forces, Major General Hassan Hussein Ali Mutahar and Colonel Mohammed Mohsen Ahmed Al-Ghathi, who were martyred while performing their national duty on the fronts of honor and dignity.

According to Yemen News Agency, official funeral ceremonies were held for the two martyrs, attended by Deputy Commander of the Sixth Military Region Brigadier General Jaber Abdullah Abu Mahdi; Chief of Operations of the Sixth Military Region Brigadier General Ali Al-Aqil; Director of the Manpower Assessment Department Brigadier General Abdulaziz Salah; Assistant Director of the Military Intelligence Department Brigadier General Hamoud Al-Hudhaifi; Director of the Office of the Chief of the Manpower Authority Colonel Adel Al-Shardoufi; as well as social figures, colleagues, and relatives of the two martyrs.

The funeral ceremonies were held after prayers were offered for the two martyrs at Al-Shaab Mosque in the Capital Municipality. They were then laid to rest, each in his respective hometown.
