Sanaa: The Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Hussein Al-Eidarous, sent a cable of congratulations to the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, on the occasion of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, in the cable, the Speaker of the Shura Council, on behalf of himself, the Presidency, the members of the Council, and the General Secretariat, expressed his highest congratulations and sincerest greetings to the Revolution Leader, the President of the Supreme Political Council, the Council members, the Speakers of the House of Representatives, the Council of Ministers, the Supreme Judicial Council, and the Yemeni people, on this great religious occasion.
He pointed out that commemorating this blessed anniversary carries lofty religious, humanitarian, and moral implications, and constitutes a key station for drawing lessons from the biography of the Final Prophet and embodying his morals and values, especially in these critical historical moments that highlight the nation's urgent need to adhere to the noble prophetic guidance, and to realize that restoring its dignity and honor can only be achieved through unity and standing as one front against the challenges and dangers threatening its present and future.
Al-Eidarous noted that this blessed occasion coincides this year with the Yemeni people continuing with legendary steadfastness to confront the challenges of aggression and the ongoing siege for nearly 12 years, drawing from the Muhammadan approach and the values of sacrifice the path to freedom and independence.
He affirmed that the free people, through their extensive and continuous celebrations over more than a month, have embodied the authenticity of their faith-based identity and the depth of their connection and love for their noble Messenger (peace be upon him and his family).
The Speaker of the Shura Council reiterated his full support for the choices of the revolutionary leadership and the field operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces, and his backing for the courageous decision to establish the equation of "siege for siege" and to teach the Saudi enemy deterrent lessons until the siege is lifted and all forms of aggression are ended.
He prayed to God Almighty to bring this occasion back to the Yemeni people and the nation with goodness and blessings, to grant victory and empowerment to all against the Israeli enemy and the Zionist project targeting the region and its peoples, and to protect Yemen and its people from all harm and evil.
