Amran: The branches of the Zakat and Endowments Authorities in Wusab Al-Safil District in Dhamar organized a speech event on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution under the slogan "Freedom and Independence."
According to Yemen News Agency, the mobilization official in the eastern square of the district, Sadiq Al-Tinah, reviewed the significance of the revolution as a national occasion that restored Yemen's status and rid it of foreign guardianship and dependency. He affirmed the steadfastness of the people of Wsab alongside the causes of the homeland and the nation, confronting the enemy's schemes, and standing with the Armed Forces in their efforts against aggression, breaking the siege, and restoring wealth.
Al-Tinah highlighted the importance of cohesion, vigilance, and supporting the Palestinian cause and the sanctities. The director of the Zakat office, Ali Al-Alawi, stated that the revolution marked a new phase of independence, dignity, and self-reliance, with the establishment of the Zakat Authority being one of its outcomes. He reviewed the Authority's projects in the district.
The director of the Endowments branch, Abdullah Al-Haijanah, emphasized that the revolution aimed to correct the path and preserve the nation's identity and sanctities, asserting that protecting these sanctities is a religious and moral obligation that allows no compromise.
The event also featured a poem by the poet Mohammed Rashid.
