Start of Muharram Living Allowance Disbursement for Martyrs’ Children, Widows & Missing Persons’ Wives

Sana'a: The General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families announced the start of disbursing the Muharram 1448 AH living allowance for children and widows of martyrs and wives of missing persons, with a total amount of 1.517 billion Yemeni riyals.

According to Yemen News Agency, the authority said the disbursement targeted 59,158 sons and daughters of martyrs and missing persons, with a total of 1.167 billion riyals, in addition to allowances for martyrs' widows and wives of missing persons totaling 350 million riyals.

The authority noted that the disbursement process began this evening through the rapid transfer service across all provinces. It affirmed that the living allowance project is one of its most prominent sustainable monthly welfare programs, reflecting commitment and appreciation for the sacrifices of martyrs who gave their lives in the cause of Allah and in defense of the homeland, while providing practical support for their families and meeting their basic needs.
