According to Yemen News Agency, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported, citing multiple sources, that the US government communicated its decision to the South Korean administration in August. The revocation pertains to "non-recurring" costs, which are one-time expenses incurred during the research, development, or production phases of certain defense equipment. This policy change is poised to affect South Korea financially as it continues to bolster its defense capabilities through American military hardware acquisitions.
