Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning reported that the unstable weather conditions are expanding across the country's atmosphere, with chances of rainfall continuing during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin forecasts moderate to heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by downdraft winds and occasional hail, over the mountainous highlands. These conditions are expected to extend to the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Al-Dhalea, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, and parts of the Tihama Plain and western coasts.
Scattered rainfall is also likely over the governorates of Shabwah, Hadramout, and Al-Mahrah, as well as the highlands of Al-Jawf and Marib. The center has issued warnings to citizens and vehicle drivers to avoid valley bottoms and flood channels, as well as thunderstorms, soil erosion, rockfalls, downdraft winds, and hail. Additionally, reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountainous highlands is expected due to dense clouds, rainfall, and fog formation.
The public is advised to follow safety measures and stay away from unstable slopes. The center has also called on relevant authorities to take necessary precautionary measures to ensure public safety.
