US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Leads to Tragic Losses Across Yemen

Sana'a: On this day, May 9, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its mercenaries committed severe acts of violence against citizens, resulting in numerous martyrs and injuries, including women and children, and causing extensive damage to both public and private property. According to Yemen News Agency, on May 9, 2015, aggression aircraft bombed Suwadah village in Al-Saddah district of Ibb governorate with five missiles, leading to the martyrdom of one citizen and injuring 34 others, including 11 children and three women. The bombing also damaged 46 homes, with 19 completely destroyed. In Saada city, four citizens were martyred and ten others injured when aggression aircraft targeted Al-Imam Al-Hadi Mosque. Further airstrikes resulted in the deaths of the imam of Noah Mosque and his relative. The bombing extended to significant historical sites and various districts, causing widespread destruction. On May 9, 2016, in Harf Sufyan district of Amran governorate, 13 citizens, including five paramedics, were mar tyred due to aggression aircraft raids, which also damaged properties. The mercenaries targeted multiple areas with artillery and missiles, causing additional casualties and property damage. The following year, May 9, 2017, saw the injury of a child due to gunfire from mercenaries in Al-Jawf governorate. Aggression aircraft conducted raids across various governorates, damaging infrastructure and civilian properties. By May 9, 2018, airstrikes in Saada governorate resulted in the martyrdom of a woman and her four children. The aggression continued with raids and artillery shelling across several governorates, inflicting further casualties and property damage. In 2019, on the same day, two children were seriously injured in Al-Hodeida governorate due to artillery shelling by mercenaries. The aggression aircraft and mercenaries targeted numerous areas, leading to destruction and casualties. On May 9, 2020, a girl was injured by Saudi missile shelling in Saada governorate. The aggression aircraft launched sev eral raids in various districts, causing significant property damage. The following year, on May 9, 2021, a child was martyred, and two citizens were injured by Saudi artillery shelling in Saada governorate. The aggression aircraft conducted multiple raids, resulting in considerable destruction. By May 9, 2022, armed reconnaissance aircraft targeted areas in Hajjah governorate, while mercenaries established fortifications and engaged in heavy artillery shelling across multiple governorates. Most recently, on May 9, 2023, an elderly man and a child were injured by explosions of objects left behind by the aggression, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by remnants of conflict. The aggression continued with raids and shelling across Hays district in Al-Hodeida governorate, causing further distress to civilians.
