Sana'a: On this day, April 8, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted cities, health centers, citizens' farms, and their properties, committing fully-fledged war crimes.
According to Yemen News Agency, on April 8, 2015, 27 citizens were injured due to airstrikes targeting residential buildings in Al-Jiraf neighborhood in the Capital Secretariat, resulting in significant damage to homes and private properties. The following year, on April 8, 2016, eight citizens, including women, lost their lives and several others were injured in an airstrike on a vehicle in Al-Raqa area in Al-Wazi'iyah district in Taiz province. The same year, Sukaina School in the district was also targeted, causing extensive damage.
The aggression continued in 2017 with airstrikes on Al-Nahdain and Al-Hafa areas in Al-Sabeen district, leading to severe damage to homes, shops, and properties. In Taiz province, two children were martyred in Maqbana district due to the airstrikes. The Capital Secretariat saw multiple airstrikes, damaging agricultural lands and properties.
In Saada province, 2017 saw 14 airstrikes on Al-Malahidh and its surroundings in Al-Dhaher district, with significant property damage. The aggression extended to Al-Saddad, Mandabah, and Al-Majda' areas in Baqim district, and Yakhtal area in Al-Mokha district in Taiz province, where warships fired more than 16 missiles.
On April 8, 2018, airstrikes in Al-Jarrahi district in Hodeida province resulted in two citizen deaths. Saudi missile and artillery shelling in Saada province led to further casualties and damage to farms and properties. In Taiz province, one citizen was martyred in Khadir district, with additional airstrikes targeting homes and roads.
The following year, on April 8, 2019, a woman was martyred in Taiz province due to artillery shelling. Airstrikes targeted Jarban and Al-Madfoon areas in Sana'a province, while mercenaries targeted farms in the region. Hodeida city faced artillery shelling from mercenaries, and Saada province saw airstrikes and missile attacks.
On April 8, 2020, quarantine centers in Al-Malajim district were targeted, alongside Qaniyah area in Al-Bayda province. Al-Jawf province experienced 26 airstrikes, and Marib and Sana'a provinces were also hit. Hodeida province faced artillery shelling, and Razeh border district in Saada province was targeted by Saudi missile and artillery fire.
A year later, on April 8, 2021, a child was martyred in Al-Dhalea province due to artillery shelling. Marib province saw multiple airstrikes, and reconnaissance aircraft targeted Al-Fazah area in Hodeida province. In Saada province, airstrikes and missile shelling continued.
In 2022, aggression mercenaries targeted various areas in Hodeida province with missile and artillery shelling. On April 8, 2023, reconnaissance aircraft launched airstrikes on Taiz and Hodeida provinces, with mercenaries establishing combat fortifications and shelling several areas.
