Mahweet: Dozens of women in Shibam Kawkaban district of Mahweet province held on Friday a cultural and awareness event marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday and condemning Israeli and US insults against the Holy Quran.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants stressed the religious significance of the occasion, calling for adherence to the Prophet's teachings and the promotion of social solidarity and resilience. They also condemned the burning of the Quran and called for greater awareness of what they described as threats to Yemen's national and religious identity.
Attendees clarified the importance of raising awareness of the risks and conspiracies targeting the country and the wider Muslim nation, reaffirming their commitment to resilience, unity, and national principles, and to confronting Saudi and Israeli aggression and its plans. They also called for continuing to resist the blockade with a policy of blockade for blockade.
