Sana'a: The Women's Development Department in Sana'a New District and Bilad Rus organized two speech events today at Beit Bous and Khaba village to commemorate Wilayah Day, marking Imam Ali's allegiance anniversary.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events focused on the significance of the occasion, emphasizing the importance of reinforcing a faith-based identity and a Quranic culture. The discussions highlighted adherence to Imam Ali's guidance as a means to confront ongoing challenges, including the Zionist-American aggression against Gaza and Yemen.
Participants at the events were encouraged to draw inspiration from Imam Ali's biography and renew their allegiance to him through both words and actions. The events featured poetry recitals and choral performances, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
Additionally, two protest rallies were held where participants condemned the siege and crimes against the people of Gaza. They expressed support for Iran's response to the Zionist entity's attacks, underscoring regional solidarity. In a gesture of support, Eid gifts and financial contributions were provided to the Yemeni Armed Forces, demonstrating popular backing for the battlefronts against the American-Zionist-British aggression and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
