Sana’a: At the highest level, efforts for mobilization, training, rehabilitation, and enhanced readiness continue across all governorates and districts, alongside the ongoing development of military capabilities in anticipation of any moves by the American-Zionist enemy, their tools, and mercenaries against Yemen and its sovereignty.
According to Yemen News Agency, after two years of Yemeni support for Gaza-popularly, militarily, and even politically and economically-which only ceased following the halt of the Zionist aggression and siege on Gaza based on the declaration by the Leader of the Revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, at the outset of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, Yemen’s stance remains firm toward the Palestinian cause, with fingers on the trigger, ready for any round of conflict with the enemy and its proxies.
The Yemeni Armed Forces, which have demonstrated their superiority in the Red and Arabian Seas and imposed new equations that confounded the Pentagon with their military operations and advanced capabilities, are today more prepared and ready to address any developments required by the current phase, while continuing to develop and modernize their naval, air, and missile capabilities.
Two years of Yemeni support for Gaza have positioned Yemen before the world as an active regional force, especially after its military engagement in direct confrontation with the U.S. Navy, including its aircraft carriers and advanced warships, which Washington has long used to intimidate nations and impose its dictates on any global power merely by deploying those carriers toward them. Yet, it failed to achieve the objective for which it came to the region: to prevent Yemen from supporting Gaza and halt its military operations against the Zionist enemy.
Consequently, the Americans and Israelis are well aware that entanglement in any new adventure against Yemen and its sovereignty would come at a very high cost, adding further losses and scandals to the U.S. Navy, reinstating the naval blockade on the Zionist enemy, and endangering American interests in the region.
In a new American admission of the failure suffered by the United States in confronting the Yemeni Armed Forces, a recent report by the U.S. Naval Institute acknowledged the decline in America and its allies’ ability to control the Red Sea after failing to counter Yemen’s naval capabilities, which the report described as “resilient and tactically innovative.”
The report, prepared by American military writer “John Golden,” stated that the Red Sea has effectively transformed into an arena where Sana’a forces control the initiative. It revealed that despite the United States spending over one billion dollars on missile defense systems and joint air operations, it has been unable to achieve any actual naval superiority against Yemen’s naval capabilities, described as an “unconventional adversary with high tactical resilience and innovation that has confounded advanced defense systems.”
The situation in the Red Sea no longer resembles conventional warfare, according to the report, but has become an arena where the initiative is managed by Sana’a forces, compelling Washington to seek solutions to extricate itself from its predicament and reduce the human, material, and reputational losses incurred during the Battle of the Red Sea by resorting to “intelligence gathering and jamming drones and missiles,” as described.
Observers considered the latest American admission a reflection of the state of American confusion and a step that reveals Washington’s inability to counter Yemeni tactics with conventional means. It is also an implicit acknowledgment that the era of American dominance over the Red Sea-a strategically vital waterway-has ended. Indeed, Yemen’s naval force is now imposing a new reality that has forced the United States to review its entire naval strategy.
The report concluded by emphasizing that the United States can no longer deal with the Red Sea as it did in the past; rather, it has become a critical test of its military capabilities in the face of a strong adversary that has managed to redefine the concepts of naval power.
As for the Zionist enemy, one of its intelligence reports described Yemen’s missile arsenal as developing at a rapid and dangerous pace, acknowledging significant difficulties in targeting it. It also described Yemen’s geography and its cultural and tribal structure as posing a major challenge that is difficult to confront.
The successive American and Israeli admissions of the difficulty of the battle with Yemen and the impossibility of militarily deterring it came after all the costly military attacks launched by the American and Zionist enemy against Yemen. However, those attacks, which targeted homes, residential neighborhoods, facilities, and civilian infrastructure across numerous Yemeni cities, had no impact on the operational trajectory; rather, they only increased the pace of missile launches against the Zionist enemy, turning the lives of Israelis into a living hell.
Despite the conditional cessation of Yemen’s military operations linked to halting the Zionist aggression and siege on Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces remain on alert and ready to respond to any developments related to the aggression against Palestine or Yemen. This was affirmed by the President of the Supreme Political Council, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, in his speech on the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution.
President Al-Mashat emphasized that Yemen, with its armed forces, will remain vigilant and fully prepared, while continuing close and diligent monitoring of developments in the implementation phase of the agreement to end the aggression on Gaza and facilitate entry. It will be ready to respond to any developments and will continue developing and enhancing its military capabilities to confront all the enemy’s military technologies, as part of preparations and readiness for any new developments, achieving deterrence amid the fierce aggressive assault.
He also stressed that the Yemeni forces will continue defending the country until every inch of the Republic’s territory is liberated and every occupying aggressor who plundered the people’s resources, shed their blood, and waged war on their livelihoods by fabricating crises is expelled. This was a direct message to the Saudi-Emirati aggression forces and their mercenaries, who launched an unjust aggression and continue to impose a brutal siege, calling on them to transition from de-escalation to ending the aggression, siege, occupation, and implementing the clear requirements for peace, as this is the closest solution to closing the door on those who invest in wars among the nation’s people in service of Israel.
