Sanaa:The Parliament has strongly condemned the ongoing military actions and attacks by the Saudi regime against the Yemeni people. These assaults have targeted infrastructure, civilian homes, farms, roads, and bridges in the capital, Sanaa, and across various governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Parliament issued a statement holding the Saudi regime fully responsible for the grave consequences of its aggressive actions and blockade, which have resulted in the death and injury of civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, due to daily airstrikes.
The Parliament criticized the Saudi aggression as a blatant disregard for international and humanitarian norms. It called upon the international community and the United Nations to compel the Saudi regime to end its aggression, lift the blockade, and cease interfering in Yemen's internal affairs.
The statement warned that the continuation of these policies would lead to further destruction and instability in the region. It also commended the humane and ethical treatment shown by Yemeni security agencies and armed forces toward detainees, contrasting it with the practices of the coalition forces and their mercenaries.
The Parliament urged those misled by external agendas to reconsider their positions, warning of the dangers these agendas pose to Yemen's social fabric, sovereignty, and security.
