Sana'a: The Yemeni Scholars Association mourned the death of Judge Mohsen Yahya Al-Ansi, who passed away today, Friday, at the age of ninety. He spent most of his time in knowledge, education, and the judiciary in Al-Jawf Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, in its obituary, the Association noted that the deceased drank beneficial knowledge from its pure, pure spring, and sipped its knowledge from the noble Ahl al-Bayt (the Prophet's family). It explained that he had long been responsible for issuing fatwas and teaching in the Bart al-Anan District of Al-Jawf and had a well-known and commendable role in spreading and teaching the thought of the Ahl al-Bayt and combating the misleading, satanic Wahhabi ideology.
The statement noted that the deceased played a jihadi role in confronting the Egyptian army that invaded Yemen, and in jihad for the sake of God and confronting the arrogant and tyrants. He expressed his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, his children, and his grandchildren, asking God Almighty to have mercy on him and grant him the best successor for his family and loved ones.
According to the statement, funeral prayers will be held for the deceased at Al-Shawkani Mosque on Al-Qiyada Street in the capital, Sana'a, after Friday prayers, and then he will be transported to Al-Jawf Governorate.
