Sana’a: Millions of people gathered in the capital Sana’a and provinces across Yemen to protest against former President Donald Trump’s proposal to displace Gazans. The massive demonstrations were a unified response to caution the American and Zionist entities about the potential repercussions of implementing what they described as a criminal plan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the demonstrators reiterated Yemen’s steadfast position on the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that the stance is unwavering. They also declared that the Yemeni armed forces are prepared to act in accordance with directives from their Revolution Leader should the U.S. proceed with its plan against the people of Gaza.
The rallies, held under the banner “On the Promise with Gaza… Against Displacement and All Conspiracies,” served as a platform to send cautionary messages to the US and Israel against any escalation in aggression towards Palestine. Protesters urged Arab and Islamic nations to adopt a unified and firm stance against this plan, which they see as a threat to regional security.
The Yemeni Armed Forces, through Defense Minister Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, conveyed their readiness to execute orders to strike against American and Israeli forces in solidarity with Gaza. From Al-Sabaeen Square, Al-Atifi declared their preparedness to carry out military actions if necessary.
A statement from the rallies expressed a categorical rejection of the displacement plan and reaffirmed support for the Palestinian cause. It highlighted the steadfastness of Yemen in supporting Palestine, as pledged by Revolution Leader Sayyid Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, against all conspiracies and challenges.
The statement further criticized Trump, asserting that his comments have only strengthened Yemen’s resolve in their chosen path of resistance. It conveyed that, together with other free nations, Yemen intends to thwart any plans or conspiracies against them.
Addressing Arab nations, the statement warned about the dangers of the American-Zionist displacement plan, part of the “Greater Israel” project. It urged nations to reject this plan to shield themselves from its adverse effects, noting that embracing it would lead to significant and historical repercussions.
