Sana'a: The Youth Training and Development Center in Sana'a organized a cultural event titled 'Our History, the Roots of Our Identity,' focusing on Yemen's historical significance and its role in reinforcing cultural and faith-based identity. The event underscored the importance of Yemen's heritage on Arab, Islamic, and global fronts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Mohammed Noman, Director of Youth Centers and Science Clubs at the Ministry of Youth, and featured insights from Center Director Dr. Ali Al-Manaqi. Dr. Al-Manaqi emphasized Yemen's rich history as a vital conduit for transmitting language and culture, attracting both Arab and foreign researchers to explore and document its past. He addressed attempts to misrepresent Yemen's history, asserting its ancient civilization has always been linked to faith in Allah and moral values, promoting justice and monotheism across the region.
Dr. Al-Manaqi called for increased efforts in historical research and the protection of Yemen's national heritage. He highlighted the responsibility of all citizens to strengthen their faith-based identity and contribute to building the country's future. The event also included lectures by revolutionary leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, stressing the importance of historical awareness and societal unity in countering efforts to undermine public consciousness.
