Sana'a: The Grand Prophet Festival for Culture and Artistic Creativity, organized by the Imam Al-Hadi Foundation, concluded in Sana'a after a successful seven-day run filled with cultural events and competitions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the festival celebrated various artistic talents, with Ahmed Mahdi winning first place in the Holy Quran competition as decided by the judging panel, while the audience chose Hassan Al-Sharaf via the "My Competitions" app. In the adult chanting competition, Abdullah Al-Ruhani was awarded first place by the judges, with Mohammed Al-Murtada securing the audience's vote.
For the junior chanting competition, Hashem Al-Washli was selected by the judging panel, whereas Youssef Al-Dawla was favored by the audience vote. In the classical Arabic poetry competition, the panel awarded first place to Hassan Al-Murtada, while the audience preferred Ali Youssef.
During the festival's closing ceremony, Abdullah Al-Washli, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism and Chairman of the Imam Al-Hadi Foundation, presented festival shields to the winners of the first places and audience votes. The ceremony also honored the members of the judging panels across different competitions, recognizing their contributions to the festival's success.
The event concluded with recitations and performances by the first-place winners, including a play titled "The Trial of the Prophet's Birthday," marking a memorable end to the culturally rich festival.
