Abdul-Salam: Saudi Regime Should Have Responded to Peace Instead of Escalation

Sanaa: National negotiating delegation head Mohammed Abdul-Salam stated that the Saudi regime should have responded to peace instead of escalating and committing crimes.

According to Yemen News Agency, Abdul-Salam made these remarks in a post on X, where he accused Saudi Arabia of misleading the world with false narratives. These narratives, he claimed, are designed to intimidate and pressure other countries into supporting the Saudi regime and fighting on its behalf.

He further noted that such narratives are no longer being acknowledged, even by some of Saudi Arabia's closest allies. Abdul-Salam added that those who continue to listen to these narratives do so only because of Saudi Arabia's financial influence.
