Al-bayda: Colleges at Al-Bayda University held a speech event on Thursday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). During the event, Dr. Qasim Al-Humran, a member of the Presidential Mobilization Committee, stressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday and drawing lessons and inspiration from his noble life, while translating his values and principles into everyday conduct.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Humran described the occasion as an educational, faith-based, and cultural milestone for acquainting future generations with the Prophet's life and the message of guidance, mercy, justice, and human values he brought. He also emphasized the role of universities and educational institutions in promoting faith-based and cultural awareness among students. Al-Humran called for broad participation in the central events on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal in a manner befitting the status of Prophet Muhammad.
For his part, Vice Rector of Al-Bayda University Dr. Mohammed Al-Ansi emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is an important occasion to recall his noble life and draw upon the values, principles, and high moral standards he embodied. He highlighted the importance of organizing cultural and educational activities at universities, schools, and other institutions to raise awareness of the Prophet's biography and instill faith-based and moral values among young people and students.
Al-Ansi described the occasion as an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life, strengthen solidarity, compassion, and cooperation, and translate prophetic values into behaviors and practices that benefit society.
