Al-Dhale’ University and National Women’s Committee Branch Collaborate for Prophet’s Birthday Commemoration

Al-dhale': Al-Dhale' University, in cooperation with the National Women's Committee branch in the governorate and the General Administration for Women's Development, organized a speech event on Sunday to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Salwa al-Saqqaf, Head of the National Women's Committee branch in the governorate, emphasized the significance of commemorating the occasion. She noted that it serves as a vital platform for raising public awareness, deepening adherence to the authentic Muhammadan approach, and reinforcing loyalty and connection to the Prophet and his divine message.

Al-Saqqaf described the Prophet's birthday as a spiritual and educational opportunity to promote faith-based awareness and Islamic values, principles, morals, and identity. Furthermore, she underscored the crucial role women play in societal development and in raising future generations in accordance with Islamic teachings.

In her speech, al-Saqqaf urged female students to participate actively and widely in the central event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal to commemorate the Prophet's birthday.

The event was attended by Shadiya al-Ruqeimi, Deputy Director General of Women's Development in the governorate. Additionally, Asrar al-Faqih, a student from the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Dhale' University, presented a review of the Prophet's noble biography, highlighting his exemplary character, lofty morals, and divine message.

The celebration also included Nasheeds and poetry performances, adding to the festive atmosphere of the occasion.
