Al-mahwit: Students and educational staff at various schools in Al-Tawilah district of Al-Mahwit governorate engaged in student vigils, school broadcasts, and educational and cultural activities under the theme 'Like One Body,' reaffirming their steadfastness and readiness while promoting national awareness among the educational community.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events took place at several schools, including Al-Sabeen School, Aisha Complex in Hisn Al-Mukhayir, September 26 School, Asmaa and Taibah Private Complexes in Bayt Qatinah, Ali bin Abi Talib School in Bayt Badi, Al-Wahdah and Al-Zahra Complexes in Al-Tawilah City, Al-Amal School in Khawlan, and Omar bin Abdulaziz School in Al-Maammar. Participants expressed their support for the Yemeni Armed Forces and solidarity with them, declaring their readiness to confront challenges while renewing their support for the Palestinian people.
In their speeches and statements, they condemned the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against Palestinians in Gaza, emphasizing their continued support for the Palestinian cause until they achieve their legitimate rights and establish an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. The vigils underscored the importance of maintaining steadfastness and resilience, upholding the principle of 'blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation' until the aggression stops and the blockade on Palestinians is lifted.
Participants also praised the victories of the Yemeni Armed Forces, highlighting the need for continued popular and student support for the Palestinian cause. Across Al-Tawilah district, schools are organizing events, vigils, and activities to raise national awareness and promote values like steadfastness, resilience, solidarity, cooperation, and unity among students and the community.
Al-Zahra Complex in Al-Tawilah City held a school broadcast focusing on the Palestinian cause, while students at September 26 School in Bayt Qatinah presented a program on martyrs and their sacrifices for the homeland. Other schools, including Ali bin Abi Talib in Bayt Badi, Al-Rasul Al-A'zam in Al-Kawahil, Al-Amal in Khawlan, Omar bin Abdulaziz in Al-Maammar, and Al-Nour in Bayt Shadhan, organized broadcasts and awareness programs. These programs emphasized national unity, preserving the country's sovereignty, and raising students' awareness of national responsibilities.
School administrations highlighted the importance of continuing such activities to build a knowledgeable and socially responsible generation. The school broadcasts featured chants, poetry, traditional folk performances, and speeches, reflecting students' engagement with national issues and the vital role schools play in fostering a sense of responsibility among future generations.
