Accra:Al-Qanawis The distribution of food baskets to 69 families of martyrs was launched on Saturday in the Al-Qanawis district of the Hodeida governorate. This initiative was carried out by the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, aligning with the annual commemoration of Martyrs' Day for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, Mohammed Salem, the official for the educational sector in the district, stated that the distribution of food baskets serves as a tribute to the sacrifices made by the martyrs in defense of the nation. He emphasized the commitment to supporting their families and addressing their needs.
Mohammed Humaida, a representative of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, noted that this initiative is part of the Authority's ongoing programs. He reaffirmed the continued dedication to caring for these families in recognition of the martyrs' sacrifices.
