Hajjah: The Al-Tahaddi team has successfully secured a place in the second round of the Martyrs on the Road to Quds football tournament held in Hajjah Governorate. Al-Tahaddi advanced by defeating the Falasteen team with a score of two goals to nil in the second group competitions, securing the second position with three points, just behind the Martyr Abu Abdil team, who leads the group.
According to Yemen News Agency, the crucial goals in the match were netted by Abdul Majeed Al-Saqqal and Hussein Aswad. The match was officiated by referee Akram Hamid, along with assistants Abdullah Al-Shatir, Muin Bakhit, and fourth official Khaled Al-Shaghdari.
In the upcoming matches, the Martyr Mohammed Salbah team is set to face the Al-Qassam team in the first group of the tournament. Organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club under the supervision of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office, the Martyr Salbah team sits at four points and needs a draw or victory to advance to the second round. Meanwhile, Al-Qassam, with three points, is vying for qualification to the next rounds.
In the youth category, the Red Crescent team has solidified its lead in the second group, advancing to the second round with a commanding 7-0 win against the Martyr Abu Rakan team. The goals were scored by Ismail Al-Qatib, who netted twice, alongside Al-Hussein Al-Sayf, Ali Hamira, Iyad Aidan, Murad Al-Ansi, and Alaa Al-Khadri, each contributing one goal.
