Sana'a: On May 31, the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression continued to inflict severe damage across Yemen, affecting citizens, infrastructure, and historical sites. The aggressive acts have resulted in numerous casualties and significant destruction in various provinces over the years.
According to Yemen News Agency, on May 31, 2015, aggression aircraft targeted civilians and infrastructure in several provinces. In Marib, two citizens were martyred in an airstrike on their home. In Sa'dah province, Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed bin Shaji' and five others were martyred in an airstrike in Kattaf district. Further airstrikes in Sa'dah and Hajjah provinces resulted in more casualties and extensive damage to the Sa'dah Radio, historical Cairo Citadel in Taiz, and sports facilities in the capital Sana'a.
On May 31, 2016, aggression continued with artillery shelling and airstrikes in Al-Jawf and Marib provinces, injuring women and children and causing structural damage. The following year, on May 31, 2017, Taiz province witnessed more airstrikes, affecting civilian homes and military camps, while Sa'dah faced attacks on Kattaf district.
In 2018, airstrikes on May 31 targeted the capital Sana'a and Sa'dah province, with additional rocket and artillery shelling in border districts. The aggression persisted in 2019 with artillery shelling in Al-Hudaydah and airstrikes on Al-Jawf province, causing further damage to residential and agricultural areas.
On May 31, 2020, in Al-Hudaydah province, aggression mercenaries targeted residential areas, resulting in casualties and injuries. Airstrikes and artillery shelling continued in Sa'dah, Marib, and Hajjah provinces. The following year, on the same date in 2021, aggression led to more casualties in Sa'dah, while airstrikes and shelling spread across Al-Hudaydah and Marib provinces.
The pattern of aggression persisted on May 31, 2022, as mercenaries established combat fortifications and launched artillery shelling across multiple provinces, including Marib, Hajjah, and Sa'dah, affecting civilians and infrastructure. In 2023, aggression activity continued with the establishment of combat positions and artillery shelling in Al-Hudaydah, further impacting the lives of Yemeni citizens.
