Sana'a: Residents of Old Sana'a District in the Capital Secretariat held an armed rally on Sunday in response to a call by the Houthi movement's leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, to strengthen readiness and mobilization.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants, including local officials, tribal leaders, and community figures, reiterated their support for the leader's statement issued on the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's Hijrah (Migration). They declared full readiness to implement his directives and continue supporting the frontlines until what they described as the end of the aggression, blockade, and foreign presence.

The participants also affirmed the continuation of mobilization efforts and training programs, expressing preparedness for what they called the decisive battle to achieve Yemen's independence, freedom, and control over its national resources. A statement issued at the rally reaffirmed the group's position toward its declared enemies, expressed support for the "Axis of Resistance," and congratulated Iran on what it described as its victory against the United States and Israel.

The statement further stressed continued readiness for any future escalation involving the U.S. or Israel. It called for joining the "Axis of Resistance," renewed support for the movement's leader, and urged Yemenis in both the north and south to unite in confronting foreign forces and restoring the country's sovereignty and resources.
