Al-hudaydah: The Office of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance, in collaboration with the Scholars and Learners Unit and the Quranic Culture Unit in Al-Hudaydah governorate, organized an awareness seminar to mark the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday for the year 1448 AH. The seminar featured discussions led by Sheikh Ali Soumal, Sheikh Mohammed Darwish Balghith, and Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Ahdal, focusing on the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday and the significance of the greatest Messenger in the national conscience.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sheikh Soumal emphasized the importance of the occasion by highlighting the lessons and values found in the Prophetic biography. He stressed the need to strengthen connections to the Messenger of Allah and emulate his morals and principles. Soumal stated that celebrating this event is a reflection of the Prophet's noble status in the national conscience and serves to renew awareness of his message, which is based on guiding people, establishing justice, and supporting the oppressed. He urged scholars and preachers to play their role in enhancing religious awareness and reinforcing a faith-based identity.
Sheikh Darwish, addressing the second theme, delved into the noble character of the greatest Messenger, focusing on his dedication to spreading the message of Allah and the lessons of patience, steadfastness, wisdom, and good conduct. He highlighted the resilience of the Yemeni people, noting their steadfastness as a reflection of their sincere emulation of the Prophet's values and principles. Darwish called for increased efforts and mobilization for upcoming events and activities in the governorate, reaffirming loyalty to the Prophet's path.
In the third theme, Sheikh Al-Ahdal discussed the opportunity the occasion provides to spread religious knowledge and entrench moral and social values. He highlighted the crucial role of scholars and preachers in guiding society toward beneficial paths, stressing the importance of educating society and presenting enlightened religious discourse to enhance awareness and counter misinformation campaigns.
