Hodeida: The Bajil District Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society in Hodeida Governorate organized a cultural party to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family. During the event, which saw the participation of the Undersecretary of the Governorate for Eastern Directorates Affairs, Amer Muthanna, the Director of the Directorate, Abdul-Moneim Al-Rifai, emphasized the significance of this commemoration as an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life and virtues.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Rifai highlighted that the celebration is a reflection of the authentic faith identity of the Yemeni people. He further explained that the people of Bajil District honor this occasion with heartfelt loyalty to the Noble Messenger, demonstrating a deep-rooted faith tradition passed down through generations despite external attempts to alter their awareness and disconnect them from their Prophet.
Al-Rifai also noted that the celebration serves as a message to adversaries, underlining the Yemenis' dedication to their faith identity and their historical presence in supporting the Prophet and his mission. He remarked that the occasion coincides with the challenges faced by the Palestinian people, emphasizing that commemorating the Prophet's birth is a reaffirmation of standing with the oppressed and renewing the nation's commitment to its Prophet's message.
Hussein Dhiabi, Executive Director of the Association, expressed pride in hosting the event, emphasizing the strong connection between the people of Bajel and the Prophet Muhammad. Meanwhile, Hamadi Al-Alifi, the Guidance Officer in the Eastern Directorates, described the birthday as a chance to purify souls and learn from the Prophet's life in areas like education and service.
Al-Alifi stressed the significance of adopting the Prophet as a role model, transforming the celebration into practical actions, especially in confronting challenges and building the nation. He highlighted that the commemoration in Yemen is notably significant in the Islamic world, showcasing the Yemeni people's deep connection to the Prophet and their leadership in faith.
He reiterated that this connection is a lasting commitment, requiring the upbringing of future generations to love and emulate the Prophet. The event also aimed to revive faith in society and instill Quranic culture in daily life, sending a message that love for the Prophet is a commitment and a way of life. The evening featured hymns and poems and was attended by several notable figures, including Engineer Yahya Hatem, Badr Sahari, Mohammed Al-Hashidi, and Yasser Al-Hasani.
