Al-hada: Bani Akroot has claimed the title of the 5th edition of the al-Hada Champions League in Dhamar governorate, winning the cup named after the martyr of the nation and late Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohammad al-Muwalad. The tournament was organized by the District’s Youth and Sports Office under the supervision of the provincial office.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was supported by the Dr. Mohammad Khaled Specialist Hospital and hosted at the al-Jalb village stadium. The competition, which ran from November 27, 2025, to February 6, 2026, saw a total of 32 teams competing for the title.
Bani Akroot reclaimed their former glory by defeating al-Masaqirah with a decisive score of 6-2 in the final match.
