Sana'a: Residents of Al-Shurfa village in Bani Hashish District, Sana'a Governorate, sent a grape convoy today in support of the armed forces heroes stationed on the front lines, on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday. The convoy, the first of the season, contained 100 baskets of various grapes.
According to Yemen News Agency, the convoy's departure was attended by the district's mobilization officer, Walid Al-Arkada, and the Al-Shurfa village's mobilization officer, Khalid Raziq. Community leaders affirmed their commitment to continuing to support the front lines with grape convoys, stating that several more convoys will be prepared until the end of the season.
The event also saw the presence of the directors of the media offices for the northern sector, Mansour Al-Muntasir, and the district, Abdullah Al-Dailami. Meanwhile, a cultural evening was organized by the Security Department of Bani Hashish District to commemorate the Prophet's birthday.
During the evening, Deputy Governor Mane' al-Aghrabi highlighted Yemen's support for Islamic causes, particularly the Palestinian issue, reflecting the nation's loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers. The Secretary-General of the Local Council, Ibrahim Al-Jilani, and Mobilization Officer Walid Al-Arkada were present alongside the Director of Security, Colonel Muhammad Ma'sar, who emphasized the significance of the Prophet's birth as a source of inspiration and love for the Messenger.
Speeches during the evening highlighted Yemenis' adherence to Islamic principles and their connection to the Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing the importance of commemorating the occasion as a religious duty. The evening included a folk dance and a poem, underscoring the cultural and spiritual significance of the event.
