Sana'a: The local authority, the General Mobilization, and the executive offices in the Bani Matar District of Sana'a Governorate organized a central event to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad. This event was attended by various dignitaries, including Shura Council member Mohammed Salman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for the Education Sector Hadi Ammar, and Governor for the Investment Sector Yahya Jumaan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured reflections on significant milestones from the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The speakers focused on his courage, struggle, and the values and principles he embodied. They emphasized the transformative role of the Prophet in guiding humanity from darkness to enlightenment.
The event also served as a platform to discuss the current challenges faced by Yemen and the broader Arab and Islamic nations. The speakers highlighted issues such as the fragmentation of these regimes and their interactions with global powers. Additionally, they condemned the ongoing violence in Gaza, pointing to the lack of response from the international and regional communities.
Ammar and Jumaan called on the public to join the central event scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal at Al-Sabeen Square. The district director, Yahya Al-Qanous, described the occasion as an opportunity to renew devotion and connection to the Prophet, emphasizing the importance of embodying his moral character.
The event, attended by the director of youth in the governorate, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, along with various social, security, and educational figures, featured poetry, anthems, a play, and folklore performances.
