Capital Secretariat Organizes Event to Honor Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Sana'a: The Capital Secretariat's Office of Economy, Industry and Investment, in collaboration with the local council and General Mobilization in Azal District, organized a celebratory event on Sunday to honor the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured remarks from Majed Al-Sadah, Director of the Office, who emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday signifies the deep connection Yemenis have with the Prophet. He noted that the large-scale celebrations are a source of frustration for the nation's adversaries.

Al-Sadah highlighted the importance for the Muslim community to return to the teachings of the Prophet and the Holy Quran to build a robust and dignified society, reminiscent of the Prophet's era. He urged for an increase in activities and mobilization to ensure wide participation in the central celebration, using the occasion to reinforce social solidarity and cohesion.

Mohammed Al-Ghulaissi, Director of Azal District, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the challenging times the nation is experiencing. He stressed the importance of adhering to the Prophet's teachings and the Holy Quran, following his example in defending religion, holy sites, and supporting the oppressed. Al-Ghulaissi called for broad participation in the upcoming major gathering at Al-Sabeen Square, affirming that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a testament to Yemenis' love and connection to their Prophet.
