Sana'a: Official Chinese data reveals that China's digital sector experienced substantial growth in revenue and profits during the first half of this year, driven by increasing domestic demand for artificial intelligence products and rapid export growth. According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology reported that the digital sector's revenue reached 20.71 trillion yuan, equivalent to approximately $3.08 trillion, marking a 13.6 percent year-on-year increase. The ministry further highlighted that the sector's profits climbed to 1.79 trillion yuan, representing a 19.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The data also indicated that China has established 16 national high-end manufacturing industrial parks across the country. During the first half of the year, the added value of the electronics industry rose by 14.8 percent year-on-year, with revenue from major electronic information manufacturing companies reaching 12.15 trillion yuan, an increase of 17 .8 percent. Additionally, the software and IT services industry saw a 9.5 percent year-on-year increase in revenue. Major internet companies recorded a 10.1 percent growth in business revenue along with a 16.6 percent increase in total profits.
