Sana'a: Official data released by China's General Administration of Customs on Saturday showed that the country's foreign trade grew by 14.2 percent year-on-year in April, indicating a continued recovery in trade activity.
According to Yemen News Agency, the total value of China's exports and imports, measured in yuan, reached approximately 4.38 trillion yuan, equivalent to about US$639.4 billion. Chinese exports rose by 9.8 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 2.48 trillion yuan, while imports jumped by 20.6 percent to 1.9 trillion yuan.
On a cumulative basis, the data showed that China's total foreign trade during the first four months of this year reached 16.23 trillion yuan, an annual increase of 14.9 percent.
