Sana'a: The Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, launched field visits to inspect and evaluate workplace discipline and attendance compliance in public service units on the first official workday following the Eid al-Adha holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch ceremony, which included the Ministry's Undersecretary for Monitoring and Performance Evaluation, Abdullah Haidar, Minister Al-Hawali underscored the significance of discipline across public service units. He highlighted the active role of these units in enhancing work performance and public service delivery to citizens. The Ministry's actions, such as deploying inspection teams to monitor and assess workplace discipline and attendance in public service units and province offices, align with its ongoing responsibilities rather than being seasonal tasks.

Minister Al-Hawali emphasized the necessity of intensified efforts in the current phase to maintain the effectiveness of state institutions, especially those directly serving citizens. He characterized workplace attendance, discipline, and service delivery as a national duty that must be fulfilled to the highest standard. The Minister also pointed out the role of oversight committees and the activation of the human resources system in administrative units, noting that the Ministry enforces compliance through measures such as linking payroll systems with human resources management.

The Undersecretary for Monitoring at the Ministry of Civil Service stated that 178 field inspection teams have been assigned to oversee the monitoring and evaluation of workplace discipline across 57 central units and 735 administrative offices at the province level.
