Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted a continuation of cold to very cold weather conditions in the mountainous highlands and inland plateaus over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, and the highlands of Ibb, Lahj, Al-Dhalea, southern Marib, and western Al-Jawf are expected to experience cold to very cold nights and early mornings, with the possibility of frost formation in some areas.
The center further noted that the weather could be cold in the highlands of Abyan and the plateaus and deserts of Shabwah and Hadramout governorates. Citizens, particularly the elderly, children, and individuals with health conditions, have been warned to prepare for the cold and very cold weather in the western mountainous highlands and inland plateaus.
Farmers are advised to implement measures to protect their crops, and visitors to the affected cold areas are urged to take precautions to prevent cold-related injuries.
