Conclusion of Free Medical, Surgical Camp at Haifan Rural Hospital

Haifan: A free medical and surgical camp concluded today at Haifan Rural Hospital in Haifan District, Taiz Governorate, as part of the activities marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh Al-Sammad.

According to Yemen News Agency, the week-long camp, held under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health and Environment, the local authority in the governorate, and the Taiz Health Office, carried out 291 surgical operations. It also provided free medical examinations and dispensed medications at no cost to beneficiaries.

At the closing event, the Director of Haifan Rural Hospital, Dr. Wael Al-Araiqi, affirmed the hospital's commitment to organizing free medical camps as part of its humanitarian and social responsibility, aimed at easing the health burdens on citizens, particularly the most vulnerable groups.

He praised the efforts of the medical, technical, and administrative teams in ensuring the success of the camp and achieving its objectives, including surgeries for hemorrhoids, hernias, tonsils, and sebaceous cysts.

Dr. Al-Araiqi noted the hospital's readiness to expand its medical and humanitarian services by organizing further initiatives and free health camps, in coordination with the governorate's Health Office leadership, in service of the community and as a reflection of the values of giving, solidarity, and benevolence, while alleviating citizens' suffering amid the conditions and repercussions of the aggression and blockade over the past ten years.

For their part, beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the efforts made to ensure the success of the camp and for the free surgical medical services it provided to meet community needs.
