Shar'ab ar-rawnah: The competitions of the Martyr of the Quran, Sayyid. Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi Football League, concluded today in Shar'ab Ar-Rawnah District, Taiz Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, seven teams from the district participated in the league, which lasted for a month and was held in cooperation with the local authority and under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate. This event was part of the sports and cultural activities accompanying the anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran.
The final match witnessed an intense confrontation between the Al-Ta'awun and Al-Fursan teams, culminating in a victory for the Al-Fursan team by four goals to three. The league organizers emphasized their commitment to organizing games and sports tournaments to commemorate the Martyr of the Quran among youth and athletes.
At the conclusion of the event, the Director of Youth and Sports in Shar'ab Ar-Rawnah District, Mohammed Hazaa', alongside the Training and Qualification official in the Mobilization Office of the district, Mohammed Abdulmalik, honored the Al-Fursan team with the first-place cup and the Al-Ta'awun team with the runner-up cup. Additionally, all participating teams received honors.
