Sana'a: The Mawlid al-Nabawi football tournament competitions concluded today in Al-Husha District, Al-Dhale' Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament was organized by the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate in cooperation with the youth branch in the district. The event was funded by the Youth and Children Care Fund and lasted for 20 days, featuring the participation of six teams.
The Shabab Al-Jeel team emerged as champions of the tournament after defeating the Al-Qadisiyah team with a score of 2-1 in the final match. The decisive game took place at the Al-Anwar School sports field.
At the conclusion of the tournament, District Director Ahmed Sufyan and Deputy Director of the Youth and Sports Office Ali Al-Idrisi honored the Shabab Al-Jeel team with the tournament cup and gold medals. The Al-Qadisiyah team received the runner-up cup and silver medals. Individual accolades were also awarded to the best player, best goalkeeper, and top scorer of the tournament.
